Downloading Air Display Drivers for Mac OS X
Your download should begin automatically. If not, click here.
Installing
Install the Air Display drivers that just downloaded. (Or download Windows drivers instead.)
Buy Air Display from the iPad, iPhone, or Mac you’re intending to use as a second display for your Mac or PC computer.
Launch Air Display on your iPad, iPhone, or Mac and follow the instructions to connect it to your main computer.
Requirements
On Mac, Air Display drivers require Mac OS X 10.6, on an Intel CPU.
(Note: Air Display for Mac client, available on the Mac App Store, requires 10.6.6 or later)
For best results, we recommend running on 10.6.5 or later. Both 32-bit & 64-bit systems are supported.
Important note about Air Display on Mac OS X 10.7+
The Air Display drivers runs well on Lion & Mountain Lion, except for Mac models with dual NVIDIA GeForce 9400M & 9600M video adapter. On these machines, Air Display works but only with this workaround: After every Login or Restart, you will need to Sleep and Wake the computer.
Affected Mac models include:
- 15" MacBook Pro (late 2008 and mid 2009)
- 17" MacBook Pro (early and mid 2009).
Configuration
Our Air Display technology requires that your host computer and second display be on the same network to offer our expanded display functionality.
So when you first run Air Display, for example, make sure both devices are connected to the same wireless network. Air Display does not work when one device is on a wireless network and one device is on 3G, for example.

Uninstall
If you wish to uninstall the Air Display drivers on Mac OS X, launch the Uninstall Air Display app in Applications > Utilities.
