We used our advanced PDF reader framework to produce a line of iPhone apps based on PDF pocket guides. We produced the first five apps in this series in partnership with Informed Publishing.

Since we released these apps, Informed has produced a new line of apps based on the same content but with interactive features. We will be phasing out our Informed apps.

Informed has devised a transition path for users of our Informed pocket-guide apps. After updating to a new version of our apps, users will be presented with an alert directing them to download a free interactive app, which will give them a complementary subscription. That alert will appear five times, after which the PDF-based Informed guides will continue to operate as they have before.

This transition path is still under review by Apple. It should go live soon.
